Our goal is to have a large percent of our population Donate $1.50 into our fund
While it is a small contribution individually, the aggregate amount will be massive and will make a material difference. After raising charitable funds that is significant in size, the principal will then be invested earning a perpetual return. The perpetual return means we can pour resources into our community on a ongoing basis to combat our ongoing problems.
Our Mission To bring ECONOMIC JUSTICE to the African American racial group. While we have made major political strides with the Black Civil rights Movement of the 1960’s, we have not made much progress as it relates to wealth, capital and access to resources. We are still the poorest racial group in the country and have been here the longest of all racial and ethnic minorities. UAAEDF is here to change that reality. It is not enough that a small percentage of African Americans are well off while the vast majority of the race is stuck in poverty and in the ghettos. We must assume the responsibility to change this reality for our people. No one will do it for us, it must be done by us.
Our investment fund is the first of its kind and is the suitable vehicle to bring economic progress.
This is a real solution that will produce real results in the quality of life for ALL African Americans. We are talking about material and tangible results, not token progress. This has never been done in history and our focus is predominately in the Black community. We are an African American founded and operated non-profit organization that is not captured by institutional money and have 100% freedom to apply funding where it is needed most within our community. It is time for us to join together as a group and pull ourselves up by our boot straps. We are confident, capable and able. We are a highly-intelligent and resilient group of people that will persevere and fix our own problems through building up our independent economy.
